Yep, you read it right. They did our first estrodial bloodwork today. My estrogen levels are 188. They are decent, but based on my prior ultrasound and E2(estrogen) levels, they decided it would be best to bump my meds. In addition, they have noticed that they must start my medicine high and then bring it down or I end up not responding at all.

Now, I will do 2 vials (150iu) Bravelle mixed with 2 vials (150iu) Menopur. It is one powerful, burning injection now! I can almost feel my mood change as I inject the medication now. Thank goodness we do this in the evening! I'm still doing the Lupron shot. So I stick both sides of my belly each evening. Oh what fun!

I go in for my ultrasound and my second E2 check. From there, they will adjust my meds accordingly again. Let's hope for lots of growing EGGS on Wednesday!!

On a side note, Mr. McDonald, The Photographer, took some family photos on Sunday. Hopefully, I'll post the one of Charley & I soon. It looks pretty good. You can certainly tell what Crohn's and infertility treatments has done to my body - & Charley too! Oh well! If it gives us a healthy child, I'll gain an extra 25 lbs!!!
