496 and rising!

Well, we had our ultrasound this morning! Each egg needs to reach the size of 20 because they are classified as "mature." They do an ultrasound and measure the eggs. They also do bloodwork and check my estrogen levels. Ideally, doctors look for your estrodial bloodwork to be around 200-300 for each mature egg. Monday it was 188 and today it was 496. That's a good number. I had 1 size 12 egg, 5 to 6 size 10 eggs, too many 9s to count, and 1 or 2 8's as well. That is a really good response. I will stay at my same dosage (2 vials of Bravelle mixed with 2 vials of Menopur) and will check back Friday. I can already feel the pressure of my ovaries and my abdomen is tender, but I'm hanging in there!

If we don't post tomorrow, we wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
