A little fun during the wait for IVF#2
Well, sometimes you just have to find something fun to do with the unending, unevitable waits for infertility treatments. Charley & I had always known of a couple names we really liked, but we have now really pinned down 2 girl names and a boy name. We are still debating on a 2nd boy name just in case we get multiples. We really want to find a name we are set on and these names have been in our head for a while, so we're very content with them. We do know our minds could change, but we're really set on the following and here's why:
Girls:
Addison Maria
Addison is Charley's grandparents last name. He lost his grandmother during our TTC, so we wanted a way to remember them. He Mamaw & grandfather meant a lot to him. Maria, (DUH!) is my mom's name. My mom was my matron of honor at my wedding and besides Charley, she's my best friend. I want to name our first daughter after my mom. I've said that from the get-go.
Reagan Dawn
Reagan has no certain meaning besides it's a beautiful name and Charley & I both agree whole-heartedly on it. Dawn is in memory of Charley's Dad. His dad's name was Don and he had 4 boys, but his mom and dad wanted a girl. So, sort of in an ironic way and because we're not fond of the name Donald in a boys name, we decided to give our 2nd little girl (if we have one) the middle name after her grandfather.
Boys:
Noah Charles
Noah has no certain meaning either, but Charley just loves it. I think it's a cute, but strong name as well. Charles is obviously after Charley and a few people in his family. I have to give Charley credit for this one.
We've been working on these names since we started trying in May 2004. After 31 months (or 974 days) of trying to have a child, we had to find something to do!
May sound corny, but oh well...
