Scary week....
Well, for most, getting pregnant is easy and then wading through those first few weeks just boils down to handling morning sickness and some other fun symptoms.
Why can I do anything easily?
Now, this is a little TMI (too much information!)
Tuesday evening immediately following my meeting, I had a huge amount of brown spotting. Now, granted, I have had brown spotting and cramping since we got our positive home pregnancy tests, but this was much worse. Plus, my cramps were intensifying. So, I made an emergency call to Dr. Gentry's. They said it was normal and to take some tylenol and rest. I did so and by the next day, I would good. Last night, I had severe nausea, so I rested. Today, as I was making Trenton's birthday cake, I went to the bathroom and was bleeding red. I freaked as the nurse said to call if it turned red. I took my shower figuring I'd rather have a shower if they were going to rush me in for a check. Instead, they put me on bedrest with feet elevated until my ultrasound on Monday. No cleaning, laundry, vacumming, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling...did I cover it all?
It scared me to death, but I'm resting now and doing fine. It seems to have stopped and back to normal brown spotting. The only true comfort is my nausea and food aversions. They give me hope that everything is fine.
So, let's hope after this week..next week brings GREAT news!
