We had an ultrasound with Dr. Turnquest's office today to check Reagan's shunt.

The second the ultrasound wand went to my belly, I saw it.. her bladder.  It's measuring around 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 cm again.  Her shunt is completely inside her belly.  Her fluid practically gone again.  And, now she has fluid around her heart showing signs of possible congestive heart failure.  If her heart fails, she'll likely die before she is born.

Addy is fine.  She is measuring 14 1/2 ounces now.  They are going to do more thorough ultrasounds on her in a couple weeks, but they don't see anything wrong with her at all.  I also did my gestational diabetes testing today, so we'll get that back soon.  And, my blood pressure was elevated.  They are checking my urine for protein which would indicate pre-eclampsia, but they think it may just be because of the stress of all that's going on.  Either way, we're being monitored heavily.

We did everything we could.  We can do no more. 

Please continue to pray for our little girls and us.  We are soon to experience one of the most difficult things, if not the most difficult thing, in our lives.

Our little girl just may be too perfect to stay here on Earth.
