Today is October 15th.  Ironically, our due date is tomorrow...  A special day to remember Reagan, our angel in Heaven, and all the other little ones lost too soon. 

So, what did we do?  A few things.  We found a special candle to light for special days for Reagan.  We'll use it on Infant and Pregnancy Loss awareness day, her birthday, maybe her funeral anniversary date, etc.  Maybe even one day with Addy gets married, she can burn it at her wedding.  Who knows, but it's a keepsake.  It's a Precious Moments with a pillar holder.  It's meant for a Christening, but it suited our situation completely!  We lit the candle from 9:13pm until 10:40pm.  Yes, you are supposed to light it from 7pm-8pm, but we weren't home, so we did it from her birth minute to her death minute to remember the 1 hour and 27 minutes that she LIVED!





We took Addy to visit her sissy's grave.  It's the first time I went to Reagan's resting place and didn't cry.  I'm surprised.  I won't forget asking my mom one day when I was still pregnant..."Mom, how do you do it?" in question to how do "get past the hurt," so to speak.  She replied, "It never stops hurting, but it does get better."  So, I guess it's "getting better."  It's still hard to see her grave stoneless and I search for a quick remedy while we try and find her a beautiful stone, but it hasn't happened yet.  We're working on it still.  Hopefully we'll settle it soon and then by springtime or early summer the ground will be suitable for setting it into place.

We also took some flowers up to her grave.  The purple flowers are from her Great Aunt Anastasia and Great Uncle Shannon.  We got them at the funeral, but have yet to place them on her grave.  The other flowers we took up to Reagan from her mommy, daddy, and sissy.  After we placed these, her grave looked much better.

So, these photos by be sensitive to some, but these are pictures of our daughter's grave.  We are PROUD to be parents of an angel and know that she'll be waiting for us at the golden gates of Heaven, so we do these things in honor of Reagan and so that we and no one else forgets her.
