Hmmmmm............
So, it's nearly 1:30am...
Well, Charley got home around 11pm. I was busy sterilizing bottles and getting ready for the next day with bottles and what nots. Addy was sleeping peacefully in her car seat, so I let her sleep (she slept 4 1/2 hours!).
Well, Charley tells me that Dr. Kay, Addy's doctor, called and left a message for me to call regarding Addy's bloodwork. Well, I asked "Dr. K actually called?" You know, because usually the nurses call for the doctors.
Welp, just finally listened to the message trying to get past my insomnia tonight... and Dr. Kay actually DID call!! And, she called from her personal cell phone! What the heck? Okay, so now I'm worried. And, I can't get answers until first thing tomorrow morning.
So, last Thursday, Dr. Kris (Dr. Kay's husband) called me direct to discuss Addy's Bradycardia and tonight Dr. Kay calls me to discuss her bloodwork. My mommy intuition tells me there is a slight "hiccup." Nothing major, but something that requires immediate attention before it becomes a problem. Make sense? My hindsight says she wants to up her medicine and my further thought is that a 2nd blood transfusion isn't too far off.... Of course, maybe she wanted to personally call me with bloodwork to assure me things are okay considering the rough end of the week we had last week?
One can only hope right? Ya, I bet I sleep REAL good now!
