Team Angel & Reagan - In memory of & in honor of
Well, we DID it! YEAH! We did the March for
Babies walk in our area. It was a blast, really. I was nervous on how
it'd turn out, but I think we're already planning for next year! We
named our team ANGEL & HOPE. Angel for our sweet baby girl Reagan
and Hope for our light of our lives Addy.
We had a few special things done. First, we had a special outfit for Addy. It was TOO fun! I'll let the pictures below show it!
(Some of you have probably seen it already). Secondly, we had TEAM
shirts made. They were lime green and had a butterfly on the front and
on the back it said "Walking for: Addison Maria In memory of: Reagan
Dawn" They turned out great! The walk started about 10am. Beforehand,
we ran into some of our favorite NICU nurses. It was great seeing them.
One of them was the nurse that I grew a bit attached to. I appreciated
her forwardness and her reassurance to me during difficult times. She
was there for me when they suspected reflux, whenever Addy needed a
blood transfusion, and whenever they pushed her quickly into Parent
Care with us so that we could get her home a little faster. Ironically,
I ran into another one of Addy's nurses on Friday night. The walkers
were: Me, Charley, Addy, my mom and dad, my brother (Steven), my
sister-in-law (Tera), my nephews (Trenton & Clayton), my Aunt
Donna, and a friend of mine, Jennifer and her 2 girls. We did the 1
mile short route instead of the 3 mile mainly because Charley and I had
to get to a wedding shortly after the walk, but it helped too because I
think the 3 miles may of been too much on the kiddos!
Oh, and we raised $475!

Addy & Clayton - They were both getting fussy, so we stuck them together in Addy's stroller and they STOPPED fussing! LOL! These 2 spend Mon-Fri together at work..yes...they are starting to figure things out TOGETHER. It's quite humorous because one day Clayton grabbed a marker and he and Addy kept handing it back and forth and then they both had a hand on it and they both pulled and pulled the cap off. Addy went to put the cap in her mouth and Clayton the whole marker in his! Ey!

And, wanted to share Charley's tattoo! He got this done a few weeks ago...he's been planning on it for a while now.. (some of you may not like tattoos, but this is pretty near and dear to Charley's heart and I wanted to share....
