Race for the Cure

Wow!  Was this fun!

We had been hoping to do the Race for the Cure (for Breast Cancer) for several years now, but it never fell on a good day.  It was always on a Saturday and well, problem was that we coach youth bowlers on Saturday mornings.  Then, they moved it to Sundays.  YEAH!  Except one problem, life.... The last 3 years have been full of me being sick, Addy being in the NICU, etc... you all get the drift..

Anyway, we got to do the race this year.  We did the 1 mile family walk.  Then, we left and got a bite to eat.  I was not feeling well after walking that mile.  My stamina has completely fallen off the map anymore, but I'm glad we went!  My Aunt Donna is a breast cancer survivor and a friend of my parents, another Donna, is undergoing treatments.  We always supported breast cancer awareness before, but now it hits a soft spot....

Anyway, here's a photo of Addy on Race Day!
Pink Paci - CHECK!
Pink shirt - CHECK!
Pink Hairbow - CHECK!
Pink (and brown) stroller - CHECK!
Pink diaper bag - CHECK!

Yup!  We're pink lovers!   That's what a girl and a little breast cancer support does to ya!

And, we even got her a shirt that fits her that says "Girls for the Cure."
